Ratings Disclaimer
This disclaimer governs any Veyrum rating, score, letter grade, Robot Risk Passport, registry entry, methodology, or related material (together, "Ratings"). By accessing or relying on a Rating you accept the terms below, which form part of our Terms of Use.
1. Ratings are opinions
A Veyrum Rating is an independent opinion, as of the date it is issued, about the matters the methodology assesses (such as safety, reliability, provenance, or cybersecurity posture). A Rating is not a statement of fact and not a guarantee or warranty that any robot, product, or deployment is safe, reliable, fit for a particular purpose, compliant with any law or standard, or free from defect or risk.
2. Ratings are not advice or a recommendation
A Rating is not a recommendation to buy, sell, deploy, operate, insure, finance, or refrain from any of those, and is not engineering, safety, legal, financial, or investment advice. You must make your own assessment and conduct your own due diligence before acting.
3. Based on available information
Ratings are formed from information Veyrum believes to be reliable at the time — which may include published specifications, documentation, testing, and third-party sources — but Veyrum does not independently verify every input and does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information on which a Rating is based.
4. Ratings can change or be withdrawn
Ratings are point-in-time opinions and may be revised, suspended, or withdrawn at any time as information changes. A Rating carries an expiry or review date where indicated. You should not rely on a Rating as current beyond that date.
5. Methodology
Veyrum publishes the methodology behind its Ratings. Any rescaling or change of method is issued as a new methodology version rather than a silent edit, so that a Rating can always be read against the method in force when it was issued.
6. No liability for reliance
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veyrum accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from any use of, or reliance on, a Rating. Ratings are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Your use of a Rating is at your own risk.
7. Independence
Veyrum forms its opinions on the basis of its criteria. Where Veyrum introduces you to insurers or lenders, it does so only as an introducer and receives no share of the resulting contract; that activity does not influence a Rating.
